When advertising on social media platforms like Facebook, it's important that your ads look inviting. An effective way to achieve this is by using social proofing on your ads. Social proofing involves reusing the ad ID across ad sets to gather comments and likes, so interactions are consolidated instead of being spread across multiple IDs.

In this post, you can see a recording of how it works and download a template that PL & Partners have created.

Before we get to the video, here are some good reasons to use social proofing on your Meta ads:

  1. It creates credibility: When your ad has a high level of interaction, it signals to other users that your business is popular and trustworthy. This will ultimately increase the chances that more users will interact with your ad and perhaps even visit your website or buy your product.
  2. Improves visibility: The Meta algorithm prioritizes ads with high engagement; as more people are likely to interact with the ad, it contributes to an increased click-through rate and thus better ad prices.

Social proofing is an effective way to increase the visibility and credibility of your ads on Meta. By reusing the ad ID across multiple ad sets, you can consolidate interactions and thus increase the chances of reaching your target audience and enhancing your ad's effectiveness.
